Our 100% pure, premium saffron from Vermont + Boundbrook Farm's delicious short grain white rice, sustainably grown in Ferrisburgh, Vermont.

We've tried a lot of rice and the quality of this short-grain rice is incredible. Fresher and more flavorful than any rice you can buy on the shelves. Grown and harvested on 6 acres in the beautiful Champlain Valley using adaptive, organic farming methods inspired by the cold-climate practitioners in Northern Japan. Ducklings are introduced to newly-transplanted rice fields eat & trample weed competition. 

Cooking notes: Because this rice has a slightly higher moisture content than conventional rice you can reduce the amount of water you'd usually use slightly. Makes amazing saffron rice with rice, water, butter or oil, saffron. Finish with lime and your choice of fresh parsley, mint, cilantro.
