Classic Beer Cheese

Classic...but better. You'll never want beer cheese without our garlic powder again. This recipe is easy, takes about ten minutes. Great with soft pretzels, and if you make your own topping them with a little more Spanish Roja Garlic and parmesan with the salt topping makes this recipe absolutely perfect.

Ingredients
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1/2 cup lager or IPA
1 cup whole milk
2 tsp Lemonfair Spanish Roja Garlic Powder
2 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt & Pepper to taste 
12 oz cheddar, fresh shredded

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. And the flour and whisk until combined.

Add beer and whisk until there are no more lumps. Slowly add the milk, whisking continuously. Continue cooking over medium, whisking until the mixture has thickened. Add garlic powder, mustard, salt and pepper.

Add cheese, a bit at a time, stirring between until each handful has melted. Taste and add more salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Serve warm.
